The MINI continues to set new standards in the small car market as the on-sale date approaches. Class-leading insurance ratings have been announced and a unique low-priced service package called MINI tlc will be available as an option, ensuring the cost of MINI motoring is kept low.

Insurance - amazing ratings announced
The MINI’s insurance ratings have been announced and are as stunning as the car. MINI One will have an insurance rating of just 5E, whilst MINI Cooper is rated as 8E. The figures are a reflection of both the car’s technically advanced engineering and safety systems and the fact that the MINI is as difficult to break into as a BMW. For a car with the MINI’s power and sheer verve, the insurance ratings are yet further confirmation that the MINI is breaking new ground.

MINI tlc - five years of fixed-cost servicing at a snip
Affordability was a great facet of the classic Mini, and the new MINI retains that philosophy. BMW levels of design, build and engineering will be backed up with MINI tlc, an optional, unique five year/50,000 mile service package. At just £100 (inc. VAT), it offers great value-for-money.

MINI tlc covers all scheduled servicing on the car, including parts and labour, and will be available to all UK retail and fleet customers when purchased at the same time as the new car. It will also be transferable to a new owner when the car is sold on - a great incentive that will keep residual values high - with MINI servicing stamps logging the car’s service history.

MINI tlc comes on top of MINI’s standard package of class-leading aftersales packages. These include a three year/60,000 mile warranty, six year/unlimited mileage corrosion guarantee and a three year roadside assistance programme that includes bespoke MINI service engineers, replacement car loan, full European cover and accident management.
