Two AM Rallysport At the Snowy Safari Rally
Minden, Ontario — With a certain cosmic justice, a new MINI was rallied for the 1st time in Canada on the same weekend as the Monte Carlo Rally- a rally the classic Mini won outright several times in the late 60’s - took place across the Atlantic.
UK MINI dealers have proved themselves to be the very best in the world, taking seven of the first ten places in round one of the international dealer competition ‘MINI World Challenge’.
Wollaston MINI in Northampton, who have supported and supplied MINI’s for several MINI2 events, topped the world in a competition that involves 450 MINI dealers from Toronto to Tokyo.

BMW Group’s Oxford plant will have a new managing director from 1 February 2003.
Dr Anton Heiss will replace Dr Herbert Diess who has been in charge of the Oxford plant since May 2000. During that time he has overseen the successful launch of MINI production and the introduction of seven day working to fulfil the high market demand of the car.
