BMW Group and PSA Peugeot Citroën have unveiled the state-of-the-art technologies deployed in their new gasoline engines, the first to be jointly developed and produced by their cooperative venture.
Announced in July 2002, the two Companies’ cooperation in gasoline engines is now setting new standards for performance, driving comfort and reductions in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

At a London charity event commemorating England’s Rugby World Cup victory a red MINI Cooper was auctioned for a staggering £90,000, over seven times its list price. The event to celebrate the anniversary was attended by the England rugby squad and over 20 players signed the St George’s flag roof, contributing in a small way to the increased valuation! The evening was organised by ex-England players Kyran Bracken and Paul Grayson to raise funds for their chosen charities and testimonial season.

Reports first seen at AutoWek.nl show that Getrag, who currently produce the gearboxes for the MINI range, have developed and tested their own 4×4 MINI Cooper S, and have seen great results, including showing the 4×4 MINI is 10% faster than the traditional two wheel drive Cooper S.
