MINI Japan Announce Two Special Anniversary Models.
The MINI was launched in Japan March 2nd 2002, and to commemorate this event, MINI Japan are launching two limited edition MINIs.
Available as a Cooper or Cooper S the 2nd anniversary model will be limited to a 300 car production run for the Cooper and 200 of the Cooper S, and goes on sale via the MINI dealer network on 28th February 2004.

Nearly three years since its launch the MINI adventure shows no sign of slowing down.
This summer sees the introduction of two new models – the MINI One Convertible and MINI Cooper Convertible. Both models will be built at Plant Oxford in the UK alongside the four models already in production; MINI One, MINI One D, MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S. The MINI One Convertible and MINI Cooper Convertible will make their world debuts at the Geneva Motor Show on March 2, 2004. Pricing will be confirmed closer to launch.

BANGLE STRENGTHENS DESIGN TEAMS OF THE BMW GROUP
The BMW Group has reorganized its development departments as it focuses more strongly on its BMW and MINI brands and Rolls-Royce MC. In the course of this new orientation, Christopher Bangle, Director of BMW Group Design, has also aligned the design area towards the various business areas of the BMW Group. Individual design studios have been set up for BMW and MINI and Rolls-Royce as well as for BMW Motorrad and BMW M.
