MINI Japan Announce Two Special Anniversary Models.

The MINI was launched in Japan March 2nd 2002, and to commemorate this event, MINI Japan are launching two limited edition MINIs.

Available as a Cooper or Cooper S the 2nd anniversary model will be limited to a 300 car production run for the Cooper and 200 of the Cooper S, and goes on sale via the MINI dealer network on 28th February 2004.

The Cooper will cost 2,498,000 Yen (which is about 18,500 Euro or 23,700 US Dollars) with the Cooper S priced at 2,798,000 Yen (26,500 US Dollars, 20,700 Euro). The prices exclude sales taxes etc.

Both models will have unique colour schemes and equipment levels, full details should be available on the MINI Japan website.
