The “Round Great Britain Run” - www.MINI2BigRun.co.uk Started 30th April 2004

A group of extremely devoted MINI owners have set off to take a journey of thousands of miles, over four days, touring the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, and all in the name of children’s charity Whizz-Kidz.

The first group, including the so called “Wacky Racers” started their journey at Elland Road, home of Leeds United Football Club today (see photos above) on the first leg of a mammoth undertaking, braving the elements and the crazy bank holiday roads to achieve their goal, having fun behind the wheel of the MINI, while making money for charity!

Those taking part have worked tirelessly to raise funds for the event, especially event organiser Berry Burgess (Taz2822 on the MINI2 forums), who has spent many months getting the event off the ground, and then up and running!
