Internal Document Reveals Plans, for USA at Least
Gabe Bridger’s excellent MotoringFile.com site has managed to get hold of a leaked MINI USA document detailing the changes for the new MINI range for the ‘05 model
year.
This document confirms that (as predicted on MINI2 6 months ago!) a Limited Slip Differential will be an option for the MINI Cooper S on cars built January ‘05 and after.
The document also speaks about the MINI Cooper S Automatic. Which will feature an auto box with options of steptronic paddle shifters on the steering wheel. This also confirms a long standing rumour among MINI circles, and is causing a stir among some Cooper S “manual purist” groups!
