….. Or so their press release begins! We at MINI2 were simply impressed by the attention to detail and vibrancy of their work, so thought you’d all like to see some further examples, and maybe, if you’re feeling creative (and flush) you’ll give your MINI the “Levity Auto” treatment too?!

Levity describe their work as “creating clothes for cars”, good way of putting it. They can decorate the exterior, and fully retrim the interior to suite your own very individual style, however wonderful, wild or quirky that might be. They certainly do offer a very personal service, projects are undertaken in the following manner:

• Together with the client they discuss which theme is best for the “clothing” of their car
• A representation is produced on the computer and if requested a 1:18 scale model
• They then require from 3 days to one week for the bodywork (this depends on the project) and one week for the upholstery, dashboard and accessories for the interior.

For the launch at the My Special Car show Levity focused on the MINI because, as well know, it is a car which lends itself well to customisation. But they also have experience with other models such as the Mercedes R, BMW Z4, Audi A4 Avant, as well as customising numerous MINI sun-roofs.

The cost varies according to the project, i.e. the size of the design and the materials used, from a minimum of € 3,000.00 to over € 10,000.00. Details on their website (link below).
