MINI United 2007 - Netherlands - Officially Confirmed

MINI Confirm Event to Take Place 22nd to 24th June at Zandvoort in the Netherlands.

The Zandvoort Circuit had already as good as confirmed MINI United 2007 by putting it up in their official events calendar, but this morning MINI Netherlands has been the first to announce details of MINI United 2007. Eventually details will also appear at www.miniunited.com

The press release (roughly) reads as follows:

After the overwhelming success of the first edition of MINI United in 2005, today it has been announced officially that the second edition of the international festival MINI United will take place in the Netherlands, in Zandvoort and vicinity.

During 22-24 June 2007 the MINI United caravan will establish himself on the circuit park Zandvoort. The circuit will be converted into the MINI United festival area including MINI city, a spectacular festival tent, MINI United boulevard, Beach club, Food Court, Cabrioscoop and still much more. During three days an overflowing programme ensures top entertainment. Several DJ’s will be performing over the weekend. Moreover visitors can take part in several workshops and race activities and can sleep there in the Urban Nomad hotel.

The area outside the festival will also be full of life. With Amsterdam - the multicultural capital of Europe -Zandvoort is, according to MINI, the ideal spot for a massive lifestyle event such as MINI United. Amsterdam’s strong sense of style and design, made the area the ideal surroundings to receive thousands of MINI owners from around the World.

In 2005, more than 6,000 MINI enthusiasts from more than forty countries found their way to Misano, Italy to enjoy three days of MINI. The 2007 edition now already promises to become such a success. As from today you can find more information and updates at www.miniunited.com, as well as being able to subscribe to the MINI United newsletter.
