MINI Quality Control Off Colour
Remarkable oversight presents unique buying opportunity.
Concerned about the 2nd Generation MINI Faults & Fixes forum? Feeling cautious that MINI quality control may not be all we’re hoping for just now? Want to allay your fears? Then look away now, and not at the stunning British Racing Green Cooper shown below.
Did you spot the mistake? Apparently nobody else did, at least not until it arrived at Knights South Staffs MINI in Staffordshire, UK.
This MINI, which came to our attention via a post in the MINI2 forums. Is on sale now, and is a truly unique, limited edition MINI Cooper. Which, of course, do not come in Dark Silver Metallic. So if you’re looking for a Pepper Pack MINI Cooper on 16″ blaster alloys, then get in touch with the guys at Knights South Staffs, you could be driving a VERY unique MINI!
You could argue that some faults, such as noisy gearboxes and leaking fuel pumps could easily be missed by quality control at Plant Oxford. But surely when a car is in the wrong colour, a colour the model in question isn’t even sold in, somebody aught to have noticed?!
