MINI USA Sales Increase for June
MINI USA has reported June sales of 4,174 MINIs. This is a strong increase of 17.4 percent over the 3,556 MINIs sold in June of 2006.
Year-to-date MINI sales for 2007 stand at 19,759 vehicles, a slight decrease of 1.3 percent when compared to the 20,026 MINIs sold in the first half of 2006. The reduction in year-to-date figures, despite the very strong June sales, can be explained by the change over to second generation MINIs in early 2007.
MINI sales accounted for over 14 percent of BMW Group Sales for June in the USA, totalling 29,394 vehicles. Overall BMW Group sales for June 2007 saw a 6 percent increase over June 2006.
