Insurance is very cheap on the One and they are very economical but still very nippy. The brakes are fantastic and I mean fantastic, these are the best brakes I have felt on any car! Handling is equally fantastic, this car always does excatly what it is told!
The not so good bits:
There is a ticking noise when driving which I suspect could be the gearbox. The noise goes away when you depress the clutch. All gears work fine and the car drives perfectly and is still in use at the moment. The engine sounds very sweet indeed!
The bodywork could do with some attention, there is a small ding at the front of the bonnet and some other damage to the back bumper Also a dent to the rear corner which has mainly popped out. There is a vandal scratch to the door and rear panel. The car has not been in a serious accident this is just a small bit of parking damage and will not cost much to put right. The car is HPI clear and the airbags are where they should be with no warning lights. The rest of the paintwork and the interior of the car are in excellent condition.
There is also a crack in the windscreen, so this will need replacing in the near future.
Because of these problems I would strongly suggest you view the car before bidding. Any AA or RAC inspection is welcome. Mini Ones on a 53 plate are valued at £7440 in the parkers guide so even with its faults you will be getting a bargain, especially with the optional extras and the Cooper wheels.
The MOT runs out on the 24th October 2007, but if you give me the £50 fee I will put a brand new MOT on the car if you wish as I don't forsee any problems here!
There is no reserve so go on and grab yourself a bargain!
