If you meant 9 o'clock by the lubbers clock that would be two bells in the forenoon watch.

A quick pirate time lesson:

The day is made up of 6 watches of four hours each:

midnight is the start of the middle watch, followed by the morning watch, forenoon watch, afternoon watch, two dog watches (of two hours each) and the first watch which ends at midnight. Each sounding of the bell indicates the half hour - simple eh
