I'm planing on storing my MINI over the winter, don't want it suffering from stonechips and salt.

The guy who owns the storingfacility want me to disconect the battery, and my questions to you are;
What will I need to do with my MINI when I start using it in the spring? Will the radio (a Boost) need a code? Can't find a answer in the ownersmanual. The side windows, must they be recalibrated? The Xenonlights, need resetting? The ECU will probably lost it's memory, so how is my MINI gonna run when I start it up in the spring?
But the $ 10000 question is; How will I survive 6 cold and dark winter month without my MINI???
