MINI2 - MINI Forum - View Single Post - removal of Front Indicator and Fog lights

I'm sure, I'm not the first person to suffer this problem, so I'm looking for a bit of advice...

Some how I've managed to crack the lens of my front indicator light, on-top of that I've also smashed the lens of the fog lamp below said indicator. (Must have been a good shot to smash both lenses without damaging the surrounding body work

)

I've done a little search and think you need to remove the front wheel, and the plastic cover under the wheel arch to be able to replace these two lights....... can any one confirm this before I start to dismantle my car, and how much hassle is it in doing it?
Also has any one got an Idea how scary the price of these units are going to be........... I had to replace my door mirror (glass) and cover earlier this year and didn't have much change from £100.00

Any help would be most appreciated
