| To my knowledge the building has a wireless setup, but again, it is "locked down" so that keys (software settings) are needed to attach.
All of the desktops in the showroom are indeed connected to the building network by wireless, and they have full access to external resources (ie internet, outside email accounts etc).
Locking it down keeps the freloaders off, and less chance of a knowledgable cracker getting in and disrupting the normal flow of business. Certainly won't stop them in the long run, just makes it more of a challenge. |
