I generally try to find a parking space next to the edge curb and park with the wheels about 3" away, that gives anyone who wants to park next to me more space. Or as has been suggested, use two bays. Or park next to an equally new car !
Parking by yourself out in the middle of the car park does seem to attract other cars like a magnet. (By the way I have a Cooper hatch at the moment), are things going to get worse when I get my cabrio' when it's delivered - next March ! ! !
