| front bumper cover This reply is for a Cooper install of an aerokit for the "S" (so I can have the central cutouts in the rear bumper cover) from a do-it-yourself installer.
If I remember correctly, my answer would be "B" because they acan only be mated with the old bumper cover. That was my first impression too becasue when I look at the installed aerokit bumper, there appear to be missing parts as I can see the bottom spoiler/lip (with the some mounting holes exposed). My thought was since the stock one was black and this aerokit bumper cover is now body colored liquid yellow, the bottom part is more noticeable, so I dismissed that notion. I don't think you can use the lower fender covers because the side markers are a (very) snug fit on the aeorkit bumper cover. If fender pieces were designed for the aeorkit bumper cover, I would assume that the side marker light opening would be wider to accomodate them. And besides the kit did not come with a different lower fender cover pieces - one would assume that "kit" means all the pieces, right?
Note that I did not receive any instruction manual or procedures in the box my aerokit came in so I kinda winged it. |
