To all MINI potential buyers(or already bought) in Illinois:
I went to the IL Secretary of State website & found this this section on the sales tax for "Vehicles Purchased in Illinois" :

It says there that
"* separate payments for title/license plate fees and sales tax on the vehicle. The sales tax will vary depending on the city or county where you buy the vehicle."
Does anyone actually pay their sales tax based on their "residency" or to the location of the dealer???
