Still cant get my head around this

Are we saying that the Standard no frills, ill take it as it is stereo in the MINI has the same aerial plug type connection as normal cars? and the Boosts etc upgradees are some sort of altered aerial connection?

Cos ive got a Sony MP70 with the normal aerial connection but i dont know which if any adapter is needed and if one is where do i get it from?
