I am getting ready to install gauges in my 2005
MCS. I am planning on installing oil temp and water temp in the gauge pod that has the two gauges under the radio, and soon after oil pressure and oil boost on the pod that stradles the tachometer.
I am trying to find out if the car is pre-configured in anyway for the tempurature sensors, or the oil pressure / boost gauges since I know that mini offers some extra gauges in the accessory catalog.
Does anyone know if either wires or plugs, or other hardware are already in the engine. Or is this an experience where I will need a shop to drill, tap and install wires from scratch for some or all of the sensors.
