There was another option the dealer suggested (but the Gummi Pfledge was cheaper!) so.. possibly inquire as to what they recommend as a replacement?

A quick google shows that pretty much all of the BMW convertible world knows about Gummi Pfledge and its window chatting/creaking magical properties!

Could you try another dealer to see if they have any in stock?
