I don't think a scrapbook sounds corney at all! In fact, I contemplated flying to Oxford just to take photos. There were some lucky individuals who were a part of a survey group of 555 new MINI owners who got to see a videotape of their cars during production. My car missed the survey by 3 days (Nov 13 builds got videotape, I was a Nov 16 build date )

I did drive down to the dock on three separate occasions and snapped photos of the cars driving off the ship. That's in my MINI's baby book. (see photo below)

I have the ship's maps in my MINI's baby book, too. Here's a site where you can track your ship and save the graphics to print later. Each location posting will give you more and more joy!
