I suspect that if you've got a CT-bound car, you'll be disembarked from the NY port. I doubt they'll send a car carrier to pick up your car in SC if it's the only one.

The ship is just one small part of the whole logistics nightmare. You're more dependent on ground transportation at the ports and to the dealerships. Timing is everything. Some people have reported waits of 2 months at port. UGH!

I'm calling right now to see what status my MINI is holding. It hit 150 on 8/6, but the phone rep said that it should have been built by now!
