Ok I just want to check I'm doing things right. I walk into Halfords and want to run away there are so many products to choose from, because it seems like a very tricky business.
Exterior:-
First of all I go for a jet wash, and use alloy wheel cleaner
Then if there's any heavy soiling I remove it with car wash wipes
I clean the glass with glass cleaning wipes then use a microfibre towel to buff and prevent streaking
I use Black in a Flash on the mirrors and trims (turtle wax)
Dry the car with a chamois leather
Interior:-
Hoover EVERYTHING, lol.
Dashboard cleaning wipes.
Good old fashioned water for soluble marks
Also, I'm a bit scared of doing something bad to my Mini
and the dash cleaning wipes, I'm not sure if when they dry in, they dry in streaky? Does anyone know?
I know it's all sprays and wipes, because I don't fancy splashing liquid around where there is sensitive metallic paint and upholstery
Does this sound ok? Is there anything horrifically wrong with it?
