It comes with a double sided sticky circular disc under the stands baseplate ( specifically designed for interior automotive use even in extreme temps) It will pull off quite easily if you need to and doesnt leave a mark. I did a rally with one in a car and it was still there at the end
Incidently to change the tax disc you only need to remove the holder ,the stand can stay in situ. Alternativly if its positioned say 2" away from the windscreen
you can change the tax disc without removing any of it.
