I see those seriously lowered MINIs with splitters and go "that's nice", but then remember that my stock ride height Cooper has caught a few snow chunks on its front spoiler as it is, so there's no way I could go lower.

Are the shutter speeds you are using short enough that you don't run into "hot pixels"? I don't recall having hot pixel issues with <1 minute exposures, but had plenty of issues with really long stuff (like 5-15 minutes). If you did have to deal with hot pixels, how did you do it?
