I only have the email as I don't have the car, I couldn't see the point in conatcting them or visitng their workshop. I assume that they remove the existing grill, trim the aero grill right down and bond it rather than cutting the "tab slot/holes" into the bumper.

I will go and speak to them prior to any work starting.
I'm not too sure about having a go myself. The bonnet one sounds fine but I'm nervous about taking the bumper cover off and then "hacking" new slots etc.

I appreciate that it's more cash but more convenient and lower risk. I have seen covers for £90 so this way i get the real thing for £10 more. I'll have a go at anything in the house, I conly live there. But having a go at the MINI, that's sacred.

I asked my BMW agent (Victoria MINI, Harrogate) they could do the bonnet one but wouldn't touch the bumper grill.
