You threw me for a second there - didn't recognize "Old" 64, as I drive that road several times a year to Davie county. That would be a good route - two-lane to Asheboro, then four-lane from there. No pressure to maintain speed like there would be on I-40/I-85.
I was up at VIR this weekend for the superbike races. Ran into Lee Davis - the Corporate Sales Director for Flow BMW. He had a red/white
MC. Very nice - there were crowds around it the whole time.
VIR is having a SVRA event the weekend of October 19th (Sports Vintage Racing). I'll probably go even if I'm still driving my clunker Honda. Want to make an event of it for Triangle MINI owners? PM me if there's any interest, and I'll post to the meetings forum.
