It aint that big a problem. Take out 2 rivets from the bottem of 1 bracket, leaving the 1 rivet at the top. Attack the centre of the rivets with a drill then pry them off with a screwdriver. They come of quite easily.

That should be enough to move the bracket around to slot the grille on them. It was for me when I did it.
