| I wish people would stop calling their car "my baby".
Its a car, not a person, it is inanimate.
Mine was purchased in November 04. It has come through the winter parked outside every day, with no problem whatsoever. No rear window imploding (thank god - although some have). Roof wear/scuffing above the passenger seat windows, is the only major problem so far, which I was told today has finally been acknowledged by BMW.
Even managed to clean it sometimes twice a week (suffers from a lot of muck spraying up the back end) in -2 degrees C.
Going back to your question. Does anyone else put their car away for winter? Either they have a few bob and can afford a runabout. Or should save their money, not buy a MINI or any other new car, and just catch a bus. |
