Being in the dark myself about the JCW mod, I suspect a pulley change and/or modified supercharger to increase boost pressure is the key.

Mods to the cylinder head could include: change in valve size, minor porting and re-shaping of the combustion chambers to aid in flame propagation, change in compression ratio (up or down????), improved ignition (twin spark plugs would be neat), etc.

A modified fuel pump, air intake and exhaust system could possibly be a part of the kit. Hmmm.

Do you any preliminary info on expected HP/torque gains for the Cooper and Cooper S?
