Wow!
I was able to pick up my Dark Silver
Cooper S 6sp auto. earlier than expected.
My Mini arrived at the dealer yesterday (4/7), and I took her home tonight (4/8)!
She was built 3/17, and landed in the U.S. on 4/2.
Solid car!
I love the feeling of that steering wheel.
There is great joy to be had in coasting to stop lights....it is so nice to feel the transmission downshifting through the gears. Sorry to those behind me
...but it gives them a chance to look at the Union Jack plate holder that I installed.
I kept the revs low....so I can't say much about going fast up through the gears.
That will happen in plenty of time.
I haven't used "sport", or the paddles yet. Got to have something to look forward to during the next few days.
There is one advantage to a "mild" exhaust, and low revs; I get to hear that supercharger
emit some "whines" now and then....sweet!
Well I have some reading in the manual to do.
If you are a prospective buyer; I know you will be very happy.
