I've always been fascinated with the idea of a supercharged car, and knowing from previous experience that more power is always good (especially when there's no big penalty for additional mass), I had to go with the Cooper S. Also, I prefer the styling and option choices.

PS: speaking of the extra mass penalty, I'm thinking specifically of situations such as a VW Jetta: the turbo 4 cylinder engine version is so much nicer than the 6 cyl, even though the six has substantially more power. The 4 cyl has much quicker steering and handling! With the MINI, there's hardly any additional mass for the supercharger, etc. Wotta bargain!
