I found it surprisingly hard to get anyone to cover me, ended up with Direct Line. I think if everyone who tuned their cars was honest, it might well emerge that there are a lot of undeclared mods out there, and with the insurers being so unfriendly, who can blame them. It cost me an extra £300, and some very painful long conversations with call centres off shore, trying to describe exactly what an oversized throttle body etc was. I hope your recommendation helps others. Good find.
