Welcome to MINI5280.org for 2005! Motoring Season is in full swing, and here are some motoring things for you to do. Note: there were 10 events in April alone! More in May! Start your Motors!!

· MINI5280 Interactive Calendar is LIVE! All MINI5280 events for the year are posted here, many well in advance. Go to http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/mini5280-calendar for everything.
· Tuesday, May 3rd – MOTR Minis of the Rockies monthly meeting. 7 pm at Pint’s Bar, 13th and Cherokee in Downtown Denver. Upstairs. Fun for all.
· Thursday, May 5th – Thru May 7th – Tail of the Dragon, Deal’s Gap, NC. See online calendar for details. Leave Tuesday evening, May 3rd return Monday evening, May 9th. Thousands of miles, thousands of twisties.
· Saturday, May 7th – SCCA Autocross Driver’s School. See www.rmsolo.org for more details.
· Saturday, May 14th – Kiwanis Club of South Denver Auto Rally – Sheraton Hotel Four Points, I-25 and Hampden – Watch MINI5280 Calendar for details
· Sunday, May 15th – Shelby American Collection Tour – Boulder – Large collection of Shelby Cobras and more. Jointly with BMW club and others. See NAM calendar for details and ride meet locations.
· Sunday, Mary 22nd – MOTR Minis of the Rockies monthly ride. Details TBA, watch our calendar.
· Saturday May 28th and Sunday, May 29th – SCCA AutoCross #4 and #5 – Pikes Peak Intl Raceway, south of Colo Springs. Go to www.rmsolo.org for more details or to sign up.
· Sunday, June 5th – MINI5280 Spring Picnic Rides – 2 in One – Northern Colorado Motoring and Southern Colorado Motoring simultaneously. Watch the calendars for details.
· Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Rallye Glenwood Springs – see calendar for details
· Saturday, June 25th – Colorado BBQ Challenge Ride – Frisco, CO – see Calendar for details
· Saturday July 9th and Sunday July 10th – MINIs Minis and Polo – Polo Club Invitational at the DPC at Chatfield State Park – MINIs and Minis deliver the players - see calendar for details

Perhaps the most important issue of the month is that it is now time for us to pay the billsOur dues this year are $27, and we are able to give you the normal ‘mail in’ option on MINI5280.org as well as the choice of using PayPal.
