Parked behind a 54 plate MINI convertible this afternoon in black with chrome boot hinges. Looked quite nice as well. Couldn't understand why the driver had his foot on the brake all the time, as the brake lights were constantly on.

When I got out of my car I noticed there was nobody in the convertible, but the brake lights were shining brightly.

I've had that happen to me once - parked up on a private road, got out of the car and the brake lights were on. Got back in, put the key in, foot on the brakes and they went out. I can only presume that the computer got it's knickers in a twist at some point! Have not managed to replicate it.
