MAMA @ the movies
The date is set the, the route has been pre-run, the weather (hopefully) is looking good.
We will be meeting at the Budweiser Brewery plant in Merrimack, Nh on Saturday, August 20th at 10 am. We have a tour set for the brewery with a "sampling session" (yes, there is a limit) afterwards. Following the tour there will be a run to the Milford Fish Hatchery and then a spirited drive through the twisty roads of Lyndeborough, Wilton and Temple to Pack Monadnock (Miller State Park), where we will have our BBQ at the summit. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated for the following items:
Hot Dogs, Hamburger, Charcoal, snacks, water jugs and/or empty milk jugs for water to extinguish the grills. As well as anything you may wish to bring for a BBQ. This is a very scenic spot and will provide for some fantastic photo opportunities. The cost to drive to the summit will be a group rate of $2.40 per person (normally $3/person).
Afterwards we will drive to the Milford Drive-in with an optional stop at Haywards Ice Cream.
Please keep in mind there will be two screens at the theater and you are to choose which double feature you would like to see, switching screens between films is not permitted (although walking over to the other screen for an extended visit with a fellow Mini owner might be overlooked
