What gear is this happening in and does the speed level out or does it keep increasing. The Mini D does have a bit of auto pilot. It can get all the way to 6th with nothing but smooth use of the clutch as the revs increase automatically for each gear change. If you brake below these speeds and then lift off the brake again without another gear change (almost to the point of stalling) it will take off again up to the minimum for that gear selection ie 15 mph in 3rd.
If it doesn't settle and keeps going then I'm afraid I cannot offer any suggestions. |
