My wait hasnt been all that long. I ordered through Desert Mini in Vegas in early August 02. As you may know (being in the Pacific NW), the Portland dealership didnt open until early this month, and already had a waiting list numbering in the hundreds when I ordered mine. I am getting my car much sooner as a result, but I am paying a premium for it.
I checked the WW web page. I think there are actually more like 127 cars on our ship. Check the bottom of the list. There is a "NEXT" button. The counter to the right will say: showing 11-20 of 127 or some such thing.
Interesting thing about the info available from ASK-MINI. They dont show that my car has been loaded onto a ship, though the WW web site shows it loaded and the ship set sail. Maybe their computer interface doesnt refresh as often as I check

Have you called ask-mini? Has your status changed to "en route"?
