Big price for small dent

Hello All.

Bought a MCS just a few weeks ago with a small dent on the front corner thinking that a dent magician would sort it for a few quid until I took it to my local BMW dealership who quoted me 600 big ones to get it fixed.

So, I thought I would let you guys see the dent which measure no more than 4 inches wide. The dealership says because the bonnet is double skinned and there are strips and fog lamps to deal with, and of course re-paint the whole bonnet, it turns out to be a big job. That's what you call a mini adventure!

However, I have found two outside companies who are contracted by the dealership to fix bodywork. one will do the paint and dent etc.. and the other will put the strips back on for what they said, 'a damn site cheaper than bmw mate!'.

Any comments welcome people
Thanks
Paul
