WD40 left to soak does quite a good job of breaking them down...but then you need to get rid of the wd40...it mixes with screen wash to make an almost milky solution

so a good clean is necessary afterwards. There are also bug/tar removers which have an effect. Elbow grease with a soft cloth and a fingernail behind it seems to be the only way.
where i have to park at work is a losing battle with my current car...in this weather the drips are solid by the time i get back to it...the new one is going to be covered at work...which is a nause.
