a cheap (£70) cone filter definately won't give you anything more than a replacement panel filter, exept more noise. what both of these will give is smoother acceleration & allow you to use the top end of the rev range more. a more expensive air induction kit like the viper might give you a couple more bhp but these are probably only worth fitting along with a more free-flowing after market exhaust - there's no point sucking more air into the engine if it can't be exhausted any quicker. |
