Hi John

Really enjoyed the day again.

This was Rosie Ryl's and my second year at the Cardiff MINI Cruise. I have to agree with Aston about the tight parking....I recall last year there were even more MINI's however the parking was far more generous. Obviously people like to look inside the cars on the static display and I had my breath held a few times with people and their bags etc squeezing through the cars to have a look inside...more likely for a few to get damaged with scratching etc
We were instructed to literally squeeze right next to one of the classics from the club behind us ( Dragon Mini Club?) and there was no way we ( or they) could open their doors properly. So when the steward walked off I moved my car forward as there was no way I was leaving it where I was told to.

The bouncy Castle's took up far too much MINI parking space...if one had been purely for the MINI drivers then that would have been fine

Overall though John we all really enjoyed the day - shame about the weather....but it turned out nice for the Wharf pub

Would there be any chance of the cruise route being longer? ( Just a suggestion) Maybe up onto the A4232 after Penarth/ Dinas Powys and down to the M4 ( Jct 33) to Jct32 and enter into the City via A470/ North Road etc to join the existing route at the Boulevard De Nante/ Cardiff Castle to go through St Mary Street?

cheers
Pinks
