My Mini Cooper has black stripes, factory installed, and when I was using Rain-X I inadvertently sat the Rain-X bottle on one of the stripes. The result was a smear mark, quite noticeable, in the stripe, and impossible to remove. Just a caution for those of you using this product and having stripes. I realize there are several types of Rain-X, mine was the el cheapo one without fog remover etc. Otherwise, Rain-X works well.
