Sorry to hear of this... and the other stolen MINI as well. It is a shame that the alarm/immobiliser in many modern cars mean that there is no more hotwiring and the thieves HAVE to get the keys. So that's what they are doing.....
Moral of this story, leave your keys hidden in the house, especially if you park your car on your drive. Especially dont leave it in view of the letterbox.
I have a drive, but it is shared with 4 other cars, so any potential thief will not know which car belongs to which house.... but I still hide my keys, put the chain on....etc |
