I shift between 3200-4000 in regular driving. Cruise at 3200-3600 in all gears and get 28-31 MPG. Straight highway is better but I don't do much highway. I only hit 6th gear after 65 MPH and tha's only if I will be crusing a ways.

These engines love to run and you should run them. I run OB up at least once per day to redline or close, and exercise the gears. The sound is just too good not to hear on a daily basis.

I have 23000+ miles and still love this car.
