From what i understand once you use it on a car it becomes coded to that car via the VIN number and can't be used by anyone else. If you change mini's you can't use it on the new one and neither can your mates

Not sure if you change cars wether superchips might reset it for you (for a small charge) or if you have to buy a new one though.
Still no nearer deciding which to go for, bluefin quote 8bhp, amd quote 10bhp. Both for around the same price at the
mo with amd's vat free offer. Main problem seems to be no ones actually tested both side by side. All you get is "bluefin is great get one" or "I went for AND and it rocks". I'd have though someone would have done a proper study on a single car testing all the various maps performance but it seems not.
I've not got gomini yet, do they compare the bluefin to anything else or do they just test the bluefin?
