My S was shifting a little more stiffly than I thought it should, so I changed the transaxle lubricant......and it was a wise move as the level of lubricant was only just over half of what it is supposed to be. it was underfilled by almost 3/4 of a quart. the drain plug and fill hole are readily accessible from under the car and the whole process only took about 15 minutes.
