| called PAC and got some new info:
make sure the key is in acc position not ign, then wait 10 sec or so to rogram; aparantly the system might be sending out initializing pulses that could interfere.
and this bit: CUT the red/white-yelow dots wire and connect to the sw side. tapping will cause problems.
will try this tomorrow.
